    Hand woven in the Oregon wine country, Craig Bodmer works with a combination of natural colored alpaca yarns to produce fine throws and blankets that are soft, strong and have a natural lustre.

    BODMER throws possess subtle textures and colors in fine baby alpaca yarns ranging from very pale blond to deep black.

    The subtle elegance of BODMER baby alpaca throws is produced by the mixing of different natural colors into a single yarn.

    The result is a 3 dimensional quality and depth not found in mass-produced woven alpaca throws.

    These elegant Braided Twill blankets are woven with two colors of yarn.

    The weave structure is called “braided” because it gives the illusion that the fabric is created out of strips of fabric woven together.

    It also results in a fabric in which one of the yarn colors is predominant on one side and the other color predominant on the other side.
